Getting a credit report is something we should all do periodically. Even if we are not out for a car financing loan, or something else that will be checking our credit score, you should still be aware of the facts. There are also individuals who will take advantage of the fact that you may not know your own credit score, and trick you into taking a higher interest rate than you really deserve. Many dishonest lenders will lead you to believe that your credit report and score are unfavorable, which can cause you to make bad decisions under the wrong impressions.
